ZenithOptimedia has appointed Mathias Chaillou as the Managing Director of Optimedia China, in charge of Optimedia China, Equinox, Newcast and ZenithOptimedia’s Digital product offering. He will be part of ZenithOptimedia’s executive management team. His portfolio of clients will include L’Oreal, Gucci, Puma, Henkel and Sanofi.
Mathias joins ZenithOptimedia with a strong track record working on some of the biggest and most prestigious brands. He worked across FMCG advertisers such as Danone and Nivea, where he was responsible for all services, from strategic planning to KPI delivery. He also comes with a vast experience in luxury marketing having created a luxury practice in his past agency were he handled a wide set of luxury and premium brands of which Tiffany & Co., Coach, Clarins and Peninsula Hotels.
After three years in China, Mathias has developed a real understanding of the China media landscape, Chinese consumers, and the business, marketing and media problematics that advertisers face in this marketplace. Before coming to China, Mathias was based in Milan and Paris working for emblematic brands such as Renault, Disney, Quiksilver and Rayban.
